Pregnancy Yoga Class

Pregnancy yoga is an ideal exercise for mums-to-be and can promote a greater awareness of the changing body during this special time. The poses and breathing techniques can assist during labour, relieve common ailments associated with pregnancy and provide an opportunity to meet fellow expectant mothers in a relaxed and friendly environment. Students from 12+ weeks welcome.

The Pregnancy Yoga class can help:

  • Strengthen the pelvic floor
  • Relieve minor ailments (e.g. swollen joints,heartburn, constipation)
  • Release overall tension and backache
  • Promote relaxation and restful sleep
  • Boost energy levels

Pregnancy Yoga is booked as a course. If you have less weeks to run on your pregnancy you are very welcome. Please contact me for details.

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. I do have a few spares. Contact me or just turn up at class:

When can I start pregnancy yoga?

You can start any time from  the second trimester onwards (12+ weeks) . It is safe to practice up to your due date with the idea being that many of the yoga moves and breathing techniques coming in helpful during labour. Please feel free to email me prior to starting or just turn up on the night.

What do I need to bring and wear?

Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one. I do have some spares if not. Cushions and blocks are provided. Wear some comfortable loose clothing. It’s fine to have a small snack before coming to class if you need to.
