Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga is a weekly class accessible to everyone – whatever their ability – anyone can do it! We will explore gentle Yoga moves adapted for the chair that will help ease stiffness in your body, improve mobility and balance and help you build core strength.

Postural alignment makes breathing techniques more efficient and helps to relieve aches and pains. The inclusion of simple mindfulness and relaxation techniques help ease stress and fatigue and promote a greater sense of well being.

We will move, stretch, smile and laugh together! Everyone is welcome and no prior experience of yoga is necessary.

Who can do Chair Yoga?

Anyone. Chair Yoga is accessible to everyone. The chair offers a stable base to practice yoga and can compensate for lack of balance, strength and other weakness so you can feel empowered and more confident in your movement.

What do I need to bring and wear

You don’t need to bring anything just wear some comfortable clothing you can move in. We practice with our socks and shoes on.
